About two years ago, during a particularly stressful period of life, I vowed to write every day. In a stream of consciousness style, I let my thoughts run wild. After two years of writing daily, journaling became a habit ingrained in me, one that I am grateful to have. The benefits of journaling are great – it inspires creativity, improves writing, relieves stress, increases organization, and helps with goal setting. For me, journaling is a way to start my day with more clarity and self-reflection.

After going through many different notebooks and journals in my time, I have decided to create and design my own journals.

Most importantly, I wanted to help others through this project. 10% of proceeds are donated to The Loveland Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides free therapy for Black women and girls.
